Who We Are

Buckley Financial Planning, LLC began when Fred Buckley, founder and CEO, set out to establish his own independent financial planning business in 1996.

Fred started the company in the Cincinnati area with the initial goal, which still stands today, to partner with executives to establish and reach their financial goals, no matter if they are days or decades away from retirement.

As business continued to grow, Sean Buckley joined Fred in 2011. This resulted in further expansion of the company and they established a regional office in the Columbus area. Buckley Financial Planning, LLC continues to grow steadily today and is currently serving clients from 13 different states.

Fred began his career in the financial services industry in 1982 and has spent his life providing sound financial advice to clients. Fred earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University and has shown his dedication to staying on top of today’s economic issues, strategies, and trends. Fred earned the prestigious CHFC designation from the American College of Bryn Mawr in 1986.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2006 from The Ohio State University. He went on to complete his Master of Education degree at Antioch McGregor University. Sean also completed the CFP® program at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in 2014.

Tera received her Bachelor of Arts in 2010 from The Ohio State University. She began her position as the Service Specialist at Buckley Financial Planning, LLC in 2014 after three years of office administrative experience. Tera currently holds her Series 7 and 66 Securities licenses.
